H.O.M.E. is hosting a fair that will allow homeschooled children to display artistic and creative abilities, and showcase their dramatic, speaking, and talent abilities.

Who:
All homeschooled children - ages 3 years - 17 years
What:
A fair that is split into categories for display projects: Art, Lego, and Kit Creations. Art involves anything a child makes on their own (not from a store bough kit). Lego involves anything a child makes on their own (not from a store bought kit). Kit Creations are for children to build or create from a store bought kit. Wax Museum is for any child that would like to present a historical character - dress up, present a display, and talk about this person of history. We conclude the night with Family Talent Night, where anyone can present their talent (time limit of 3 minutes for each talent).

- Projects must be set up on Friday, October 17, 2025 between 7:30pm - 8:30pm.
- Fair will be open to the public from 5:00-6:45 PM. All attendees can vote for their favorite Wax Museum, Art, Lego, and Kit Projects for each age level. All ballots must be turned in by 6:45 PM to allow time for counting.
- Talent Sharing Night will begin at 7:00 PM. It will end when all participants have shared their talents and culminate with awards being given for the People’s Choice awards and Judges’ Choice awards for each age group.
- $4.00 per entry for the Art, Lego, Kit, and Wax Museum portion of the fair.
- Children who enter a second project in any category (Art, Lego, Kit, or Wax Museum) will pay $2.00 per entry
- Members: Spend $25 and get $5 off Non Members: Spend $30 and get $5 off
- Students may enter as many projects as they desire, in both Art, Kit, and Lego. Only one Wax Museum entry per child. There are no entry fees for the Family Talent Night.
- Children may showcase as many talents as they desire for the Talent Sharing Time. (If there are a large number of talent entries, the number of entries for the talent portion may be limited.)
- There is no fee for the Talent Sharing Time. There are also no awards for the Talent Sharing Time.
Awards:
- Each Wax museum, Art, Kit, and Lego project will receive either a blue, red, or white ribbon based on the number of points the project receives when judged.
- One entry from each age group will be awarded the Grand Award by the judges.
- One entry from each category will receive a People’s Choice Award.
- People’s Choice: This is where YOU pick your favorite entry from each age category. Each person gets one vote per age category. Students can participate in voting. All votes must be turned in by 6:45 P.M. to be counted.
- All participants of the Art, Lego, Kit, and Wax Museum Fair will receive a participation gift for entering.
Displays:
- Please see the individual categories for specific instructions. You will have 1/4 of an 8 ft. table for your display (about the size of a project display board - about 48" across and 15" deep). If your category receives a round table, you will receive ¼ of the table.
- Every display must have an index card attached to their project explaining why they made this particular project.
- Please keep entries anonymous - do not place name on project where it can be seen by judges.
Viewing/Judging:
- Students will be placed in appropriate age categories.
- Judges from outside of the H.O.M.E. group will score all entries based on the criteria listed on the judging forms (see attachment for specific details). This will be done prior to event being open to public.
- The Wax Museum will be open for public viewing from 5:00 – 6:45 PM. This time frame might get divided depending on amount of participants. Judging will take place during fair hour.
- Everyone is encouraged to view and vote for their favorite Wax Museum Character, Art, Lego and Kit projects. The Art, Lego, and Kit display viewing will be open from 5:00-6:45 PM. People’s Choice voting will conclude at 6:45 PM to allow time for ballots to be tabulated.
- The Family Talent Time entries will not be judged, and no awards will be given for this event.
Deadlines:
- Registration deadline is October 10, 2025.
- We will not be taking any late entries.
- Any projects not set up on Friday, October 17, 2025 will not be judged.
