                                 ART
Art Fair has two sections: Creations & Kits

Guidelines for "Creations" of each Entry:
  •  Each participant can enter a project or several projects that are centered around a theme. (All of the projects entered in the theme must fit into the designated space.) For example, child can enter one single project or enter a group of projects on a display board, as long as they are centered around a theme.
  • Art must be the original work of the student. Only minimal assistance from adults should be given. Younger kids can have guidance, but still be doing most of the work themselves.
  • Art subjects must be appropriate to a Christian audience and adhere to the HOME content policy
  • Each entry should take up no more space than a 1.5' x 4' area. (This is the approximate area of a display board.) If you are not using a display board, it is recommended that you bring a stand to display your work. Be creative!!
  • Every participant must submit An Artist’s Statement with their entry. This paragraph should either be typed or in the participant's own handwriting.  It should include:
    • Title
    • How it was made
    • Time it took to make
    • Why your child chose this project
    • Any other information helpful to understanding the entry.
    • Kids 6 and under can dictate the information to their parents to type.
  • DO NOT PUT THE CHILD'S NAME ON THEIR DISPLAY OR ARTIST’S STATEMENT.
  • Art projects can be submitted for any or all of the following categories:
    • Drawing
    • Painting
    • Sculpture
    • Printmaking
    • Craft
    • Sewing
    • Any other creation including wooden crafts, recycled art, plaster crafts, etc.

  • Art must be from a "kit".  Example: sewing pattern, crochet pattern, diamond painting kit, loom kit, etc.  These must be done by the child by themselves, with minimal help from an adult.
  • Art subjects must be appropriate to a Christian audience and adhere to the HOME content policy
