Do you participate in the Boxtops for Education program?
- Yes, HOME is a group of Christian homeschoolers. Membership is open to those who agree, support and sign the Statement of Faith, which is the foundation of our Constitution and are members in good standing of a local, Christian church (definition of “a member in good standing” is one who regularly attends worship and is not under church discipline).
Where are you located?
- We meet at a church in Flint, Michigan. Our location is not on our website for the safety of our members.
What does this group offer?
- Our group offers a co-op, monthly field trips, special events, Mom's Night Outs, and other activities. Please explore our website to see all that we offer.
When and how often does the co-op meet?
- Our co-op meets bi-weekly on Thursdays from 9:00-1:30 PM. Our co-op has two semesters. The fall semester runs from September to December. The winter semester runs from January to May. We meet eight times each semester.
When is registration for the co-op?
- Our co-op registration is in May and December of each year. Check back for deadlines.
What are the fees for the group?
- You can become a non co-op member of HOME for $10 per year during open enrollment or $20 any other time. This allows you to have all the benefits of HOME except the co-op.
- Co-op members pay according to the following scale:
- $45 for family of 1-2 children per semester
- $50 for family of 3-4 children per semester
- $55 for family of 5-6 children per semester
- $60 for family of 7-8 children per semester (any additional fees for classes are shown on class syllabi)

How often do you have Field Trips?
- We host one field trip per month September thru June (excludes December).

- Field trips are for all ages.
What types of events do you offer for homeschoolers?
- We offer various events such as a Art, LEGO, Wax Museum Fair, a Family Sharing Night, Field Trips, and a Facebook group that informs about other events for homeschoolers in our area. See our Events link for more details.
